3 Cheap Hotels In Tokyo

Tokyo is the largest and most attractive capital city of Japan. This great city is densely populated and has about 12 million people in the central of Tokyo alone and about 30 million people packed in the entire city. This city is of no doubt to be both daunting and at the same time fascinating to visit.

Besides the many tourist attractions like the Tsukiji Fish market and the traditional Japanese baths at the Azabu-Juban Onsen, eating in Japan might be a totally unique experience for most people. There are more than 200,000 restaurants and food centres with different kinds of food to suit any budget.

However, it is important to note that Tokyo is not a cheap place to visit. Most hotels are very expensive. However there are still many budget hotels which are still affordable for those who wish to keep the travelling cost to the lowest. If you are planning to visit Tokyo, there are 3 cheap hotels in Tokyo you may want to consider adding to your hotel list.

Las Vegas – Best Hotels and Resorts for a Fabulous Vacation, Yet Affordable

If money is no object you only have 3 choices of places to stay:

Bellagio, Palazzo (Venetian) or Encore (Wynn). The choice will depend on what you value most, such as casino (Wynn and Venetian have fabulous casinos, whilst Bellagio mostly caters to higher-rollers). We have stayed many times at these 3 resorts and we love them all, for different reasons. The Palazzo o Venetian suites are fabulous; the Encore rooms are fresh and modern; Bellagio does not have equally huge rooms (but of course you can always opt for a suite) but the service here is second to none. Amazing spa, amazing gym: you are amongst the elite here.

If you are on a budget – you can safely choose from the still very good MGM, Mirage (we stay at these two resorts very often), Treasure Island (but the rooms are small at TI, so beware, though it’s a very nice little place in every aspect, though the pool area is a little too small for us) or, if you really need to save as much as possible, Montecarlo (the pool area here is not that great, though, just small and incredibly noisy: you can barely here each other scream). Below these you will seriously compromise on comfort, atmosphere, smells, noise, cigarette smoke everywhere or just an overall-run-down atmosphere you can only overlook if you are drunk all the time. A note on cigarette smoking: of the super cheap resorts, the Circus Circus is the only one which, in terms of rooms, have a real policy of smoking and non-smoking: if you are a smoker Circus Circus will treat you well and, if you are a non-smoker, you will be equally respected and they will assure you that you will not stay in a room where you breath other people’s smoke. Out of the low budget resorts, in our extensive experience, Circus Circus is the only one with excellent security and every customer is treated truly equally in this respect. Maybe because they cater for families too and not only to crazy-partiers, but if we are on a strict budget and want to breathe in our own room we always go here.

Cheap Hotels

When you think of cheap hotels, you probably think of being woken up at two am by the sounds of loud music pounding through the walls of your room, of crazy college kids hopping off the roof of the hotel, bottles crashing, random renditions of “YMCA” and loads of other torturous and annoying dances that are sure to make you cringe and endure many a sleepless night hoping that the cursed party animals will go away!

But the fact of the matter is that a lot of cheap hotels really, truly, are not all that bad. As a matter of fact, they can be darn right awesome! It’s all a matter of finding good cheap hotels and finding them at a good time!

As a matter of fact, cheap hotels doesn’t mean that the hotel that you are going to is cheap ALL THE TIME. In fact, it may mean that you just reserved a room at a good time. But how do you go about doing this without worrying about getting a bad hotel room?

First of all, try getting in touch with a travel agency. You never know what kind of deals they can put you in contact with or companies that will help you to get your hotel for a lot less!

Secondly, you need to make sure that you have enough time to book your hotels…and you need to book them several months in advance! You may not realize it but the earlier that you actually book your hotel room, the more discounts that you can get!

Many of the travel agencies that you can hire will help you to book your hotel rooms in advance-but you may want to also consider whether you REALLY need to go on vacation during the winter. You may not realize it but if you go on vacation during the winter, you can save quite a bit more money than if you had gone during the summer! Simply check with the hotels around the area that you are planning on staying and see if you can get a discount of some form. You never know how much they might take off!

Next, you need to budget out how much money you’ll need once you finally get your vacation set up. This means that you may need to take into account how much you spend, how much you will spend, etc. You also need to have an emergency fund for those times when you might be in need of a little extra money. You never know when something will happen that will require more money. Maybe your two year old will accidentally set a pair of sheets on fire-you never know! The point is, make sure you have a little extra.

Lastly, make sure that you research the cheap hotels and travel agencies that you will be looking into. You may not realize it, but a lot of companies may seem nice and reputable, but their cheap hotels may be nothing more than a shack. While this may add to the experience, but it certainly won’t add to your contentment.
